    Midi interface question.

    Re: Midi interface question.

Midisport (by M-Audio) is considered the basic answer to this question by most people.

I only have the 2x2 model, but they offer all kinds of inputs/outputs -- just depends on how many you need:

    They are USB.

If you have five devices then it sounds like you might need the 8x8 unit (or you could get a 4x4 and a 2x2, I suppose: that might be the most cost effective).

Styxx, I have the 8x8 and have been using it for about 2 years with no problems. It works as USB or serial port. I have been using the serial port in conjunction with SX and it has been great. Thoughtless actually. Hope this helps.

Yeah but I feel much more confident with my eight than say a 4 or even worse....a 2.
