    Gig size limit???

I just tried to save a 3GB file on a disk with 25GB free (empty recycle bin), and the editor warned me that my disk \"may not have enough free space,\" but gave the option of proceeding anyway. It stopped writing right at 2GB...

Is there some limitation I am missing? If not, what is going wrong?

As I recall, Win98 has a general 2GB file limit?

Yes, I just heard back from Greg at Nemesys that this is indeed the case. Pity.

I get that message, too, on Gigasampler...but when I go ahead and save the file, there are no problems. Peter

Hehe, who knows. But I do recall reading in some video capture software documentation that under win98, long captures had to be split accross multiple files because of a 2GB limit imposed by the filesystem.
