    New. radical piano design

BBC has just posted an article about the radical design of a new piano. It was designed by Daniel Barenboim. Interesting, but no real breakthrough, , or so it seems to me. I would like to read more in-depth comments. Presently, I have reservations about the sweeping rhetoric, so I will wait and see. Not likely that i will ever hear or see one, but the topic interests me. So if you know anything about it, provide some comments and insights, please.

I would like to read the articles but I see no link to them in either Tom's or Richard's posts.

Never mind, I researched and found the link:

    http://www.theguardian.com/music/201...n-love-with-it

Interesting concept, but I would like to hear a side by side comparison to a Steinway and his new piano design.

Ooops - sorry about that - my reference as the same as the one you found, Ricj.

Here's some comments and more links from a thread about it at the Piano World site.
