You\'ll never agree. The issue is just too complex. This is bringing out the worst in all of us. Let\'s get back to talking about release samples and velocity layers.

    Agreeing is not the point.

Its important for us all to address the complexity of it, regardless of which side we are on. I personally have learnt a lot from the arguments and had to rethink a number of my assumptions.

What exactly have you learnt here?

That sometimes a teeter totter doesn\'t just go up and down...but spins!

It changes your perspective, even though, both ends, up or down on a teeter totter and both striving for dominance, are still there, ..when you spin a teetor totter on it\'s axis, suddenly, both sides, still held,, seek a center. That\'s not aggreement, It\'s balance.

When we see this, we realize, that whats important is not whether \"our\" side is up or down on the tetter totter, but to keep it spinning..which brings \"both\" sides off the ground, and the balancing of which brings on a new perspective.

    Does that make sense?

It\'s not important that everyone be on the same page and think alike..or hold the same view..or have the same answers. What is important is the questions we ask. Posed as a question, a new question, often, challenges our own thoughts, walls, that we have put up. And even though, in the end, we still hold the same view, we ultimately, having addressed these questions, find our view, deeper, more prfound, in having been tested. And we see the tetter totter, spinning. We accept, that what is more important is blance of spinning the tetter totter. Because as you say, there a far too many complexities, (questions) than there are answers to it.

It\'\'s the realization, that several very intelligent people can sit in room, given the same facts..and come up wiht different views, for which they can defend, etc. ..which in turn can pose new questions. Beyond that, when it\'s all over, there are new questions..that arise naturally, from the introduction of ALL sides of view..that noone intitally stated. This ist he \"spinning\" of the see saw.

btw, \"balance\" in reference to spinning does not mean, in this context...agreement.

also btw, Iraq started in tears, existed in tears, and will end in tears..despite the good things..and the bad things.
Tears of joy, tears of sadness. Both of them real, both of them absolutely right.

The government wants us to be apathetic. Free discussion is one of the best aspects of a democracy.
