    I see stuff on here that is questionable for audio.
    Exapmle: \"Disabling Write-Behind Caching for
    all disk drives\", in some instances, is going to result in higher CPU usage and a negligable change is Disk Write Speeds.
    ( ref: dskbench.exe on 6 different drives ...
    tested before and after ...)

    I think these tascam guys need to qualify these general tips with more information before they tell folks that this is the holy grail of optimization.

    And they also should be telling folks how to benchtest their changes after they\'re made, to make sure there is any improvement,
    and to also insure that ythere is no degredation to performance.

    On a positive note...atleast they\'re point to the place that might be in question,
    however to apply these changes and expect results, without testing your own specific machine is too musch faith in my opinion.

    Make the changes and then test to see if it actually helps...OR HURTS performance.
