I will kill myself after days with gigastudio crashes

    Hi Guys,

    you are my last hope

    FAST EXPLANATION
when i start gigastudio 160 it crashes in the beginning with error page \"kernel32.dll\"

    LONGER EXPLANATION
I have reinstalled GIGA and win98SE several times but it didnt help

After first search for giga and reviewing the audio config, giga allways crashes

i have 2 pc setups where it allways crashes the same

    1st pc
    p3-500
    asusboard p3bf
    ati rage fury pro 128
    2x westerndigital ultra66 on promise u100
    awe64gold

2ndpc (ibought because of a long story)
    p4-1400
    asusboard
    matrox g400
ibm deskstar ultra100 with intelcontr onboard
creamware pulsar 1 with 2.01 software

I reinstalled everything 1221212 times. now i have taken of all gigfiles ... it doesnt help

i can get into diag mode. if i run diag everything seems okay...

a guy told me it would have sth to do with gig-search

14 days before my old p3 did then... he crashed

now i repaired the old system and even the new one doesnt do it ((((((((

on your first system...try using a cheap ATI 8mg graphic card, i think your graphic card is the problem...you\'re very brave using a P4 for digital audio...it\'s still VERY unstable, and actually runs slower than its P3 counterpart.

    Dear Vudoo,

    to your PC-IDEA
I thought fast RAM (RIMM) would be good for audio editing ! thats sad to hear that a p4 isnt better than a p3 for audio

    TO THE GRAPHICS PORT IDEA
gigastudio worked a long time with this matrox g400 and you are right on my old p3 the ati may be the problem

    who knows

Do you know any software or driver conflicts i could have ?

    Enis
