Lightbulb Camille Saint-SaŽns - The Swan (for solo Cello and Piano)

After Garritan Gofriller, for years nothing was going really forward with solo Cellos: the nice sample libraries were nice sounding but static as every library, and no virtual instruments were reaching the realism and flexibility of Gofriller...until now

Here a demo track (made by me, using a real performance as a reference) of the Samplemodeling SWAM Cello:

    The Swan

Here the Video of the performance inspiring the MIDI sequencing:

    The Swam (Cello)

    As usual feedback is welcome.

    Excellent, Fabio!

Which is that sample / modelling cello which you were using? Sounds very life-like and lively, great intonation, also great timing of the musical flow!

Thankyou Reinhold, it's the Samplemodeling SWAM (name of the developer) Cello. You may find more info just typing it in the search engine, if you like to.

Actually I recommend it, if you like "virtual instruments": they are instruments with just one patch, but controllers enabling the sound shaping, instead of a "library" which is a collection of pre recorded articulations.

Very lovely. just one suggestion: The piano is too distant, you might want to turn it up a bit. But the cello is fantastic, could fool most people.
