Try deleting your database reference folder, then launch Gigastudio and update your database. I had a similar problem and this solved it. There\'s an old post somewhere here that describes this problem.
Here\'s a more detailed version of what you do :
Find your Gigastudio install folder, probably in the Program Files folder, find Nemesys folder. Find GStudio folder. In GStudio folder you\'ll see a folder called \"db\". Rename it \"olddb\". Re-launch Gigastudio and let it build your database and see if your problem is fixed. If it is fixed you can delete your \"olddb\" folder no problem. Hope this helps.
I\'m running Giga 2.5x on my Athlon 1.4ghz machine, Windows XP home etc.
Ran fine all day yesterday, last several months. The only thing i did out of the ordinary was that I did back up some samples from my audio/sample drives to my Firewire drive at the end of the day.
But as of this a.m. my PC now freezes as soon as I try to open Gigastudio. Defragged and error-checked my drives already.
Anybody have any ideas?
