Just got back from a week recording with my laptop. Used my Indigo, and initially, we got major grunge. The engineer had me running through two direct boxes, and I had the Bardstown Bose up. He flipped the ground on one channel, and the noise disappeared. A couple of songs later we switched to Franz\' Rhodes, and the grunge came back. Eventually it was made to go away by switching BOTH ground lifts, so the one previously off was on, and vice versa.

Does this make sense to anyone? Can I fix the problem so it won\'t re-occur by inverting the phase on all Franz\'s samples?

BTW, I think I sold a bunch of Gigaboxes while I was there- Roger Smith of Tower absolutely loved the clav and Rhodes, and everybody loved Kip\'s Bose...
