    Video Cards

    Hello friends,
What are the advantages, if any, for having a Video Card with 128Mb RAM over one with 64Mb?
At the moment I\'m only doing Audio. Video later ....
    Thanx.

Well, it will only save ram usage if the ram is shared between the video card and the onboard ram. If the video ram is dedicated, then the only difference between 64 and 128 is the performance.

Video performance... Games for instance will be greatly impacted by video card memory (for textures) and calculation power (frames per second). It shouldn\'t negatively affect CPU performance one way or the other. Unless your making or playing games 64 MB (unshared/dedicated) should do quite nicely.
