OT: Audio to MIDI converter ?

I know this questions has been asked before, but...

Are there any out there that don\'t suck? Specifically for piano...

I tried demos of several that I found through Google, but nothing even remotely usable.

    Anyone? Thanks...

Re: OT: Audio to MIDI converter ?

    Hi:

Sometime ago I had a look to Akoff Composer and it was interesting to see the polyphonic capability. Long time without try this soft. I don´t remember exactly if \"Akoff\" is rightly spelled, almost sure. Try with Google. I will try again also.
Keeping in touch for this OK?

I\'m testing it out right now, but so far, it\'s working better than all the others.

Re: OT: Audio to MIDI converter ?

How does it work for vocals? Like if I sang La La La into the mic and tried to convert it to piano or synth lead?

btw I had tried something called a Midifier long back, I think the only vst plugin to do an audio to midi. It did a decent job I think.

Did you try the conversion in realtime or from a audio file?
And what type of material, melodic or polyphonic (like piano)?
