    GPO WebChat now supports IRC

    Hy all,

after having permanent problems with the WebChat, i have changed it to connect to IRC Server.
So everyone that doesn\'t have an IRC Client can use the Web Interface.
They would be autimaticaly connected to the QUAKENET Server in the #garritan Channel, so we have only one chat.

Hope that would be the perfect solution, so everyone can use mIRC or the Web Interface.

So if you want to, you can test it, same adress:
    GPO Webchat

    Andy,
Thanks for doing this. I noticed a small Javascript problem with the page: when you click the \"Log on\" button :

Line 10: Error: \'document.formular.user.value\' is null or not an object

the text box in question, I believe is called \"nick\" not \"user\".

    Good luck,
    Dennis

Well I hope this fixes it for good. For a while there I thought I was in the Twilight Zone.

Thats great AG - it works for me - and combines the best of both worlds - an easy web client for those who don\'t want to use IRC software, meanwhile IRC-heads can still get their fix.

Is the next chat definitely Saturday 5th June and not Sunday 6th then as the welcome message says?!
