Thumbs up Re: PBS - Keeping Score

    Hey Shaz!
This is interesting! I will definitely check this out (after all, I do support PBS)! I remember when Michael Tilson Thomas was conductor for the B. P. O. ! < And that's not Boston Pops Orchestra!
Always thought he was the best. He was quite young back then.

    Thanks for posting!!

Unfortunately I don't see it scheduled anytime locally. I'm sure it'll be on here at some point, though... probably right after I move!

    Re: PBS - Keeping Score

It was on here in Austin last night and I watched it. I've always listended to classical music, but the program didn't really give me any relevant info to what I do - still I enjoyed it.

It was interesting seeing how a conductor approaches a piece he's performed many times, as well as the instrumentalists. That 32 note piccolo run in 3 seconds definitely got my attention as a guitarist :-).

    Oooo, jumped the gun...
Figures. I'll have to call "Goldie" up and threaten to hold back further donations unless they air it in this area soon.
