Whoah. Brady & Nick, if you're going to go agreeing with each other in the first two posts of a thread, how are we ever going to make it to page 21? This is an outrage!

I'm against it! It's not environmental friendly. We're killing Earth! Let's first try to build a clean engine before we all go on a trip in space. Why do you all allow for a CO2 overload in our atmosphere, while at the same time, you gladly condemn a person for smoking in your proximity?

Of course, by the time commercial SpaceShipOne tickets are reasonably priced we won't be using oil no more.

    Did I kill the thread?

    LOL!!!!!

    Ah well, Microsoft Space 1.0

I wonder if they will be adressing any of the bugs in the laws of physics. The universe has been in beta testing far too long.

    Still, very cool

As far as I'm concerned you didn't kill it. I completely agree with you.

    A couple of predictions:

    1. You will see developments happen much faster than they ever have for NASA.
    2. There will be payoffs way beyond any tourist joyrides.

C'mon. This kind of thing is a celebration of the human spirit. We won't be using fossil fuels for long, but something else will take their place. I have argued for a while that fossil fuels should now be reserved for air/space travel. But people treat the worlds resources like an addict treats his stash.
