    Try DS Soundware:
    http://www.dssoundware.com/

The guys are percussionists and have produced libraries acknowledged to be 'best in class'. 24 bit samples. Hundreds of velocity layers.

    Check out www.tapspace.com

They have a library called the Virtual Drumline which features of all ensembles the Santa Clara Vanguard drumline. It's the only library I've found with marching cymbals as well.

Cool Re: Marching drum sample ?

I for myself love the "Ultimate Orchestral Percussion Library". You find every type of marching (different snares) or orchestral (crashes, timpanis, percussion, ...) things there. I love them.

I just found this link the other day. IT's Vic Firth's website and they have a bunch of DCI drumline parking lot vids. Awesome!!!

Cool. Now if we could only get samples of the Blue Devils or Madison Scouts horn lines!

..and while we're at it, could we sample/bottle the Cavaliers visual program? I'd like to use it for my group this fall.

I'm very frustrated... I went to the Tapspace website and listened to all the Virtual Drumline demos... I was so impressed that I decided to offer myself a little Canada Day present... But after filling the online order, a message told me that they weren't shipping stuff to Canada...

Don't they want to make money?...

    Re: Marching drum sample ?

Thanks for your kind words about Virtual Drumline!

We indeed ship to Canada, so please accept our apologies for any confusion on our website. Our web-store can be found at http://store.tapspace.com and we're able to directly accept USA and Canada orders there. European customers can go through our exclusive European distributor, Musica Muremo who can be contacted at http://www.muremo.be.

    Thanks again,
    Jim
