Interesting topic since im a reverb newbie. Just watched last night "the affair of the necklace" and in it there are alot of works of baroque and classical masters. The Ambience was literally GIGANTIC. It all sounded like it was done in a huge cathedral or emulated cathedral and had that sound as if you were standing many rows back. The trail(thats the term for the decay portion correct?) was huge.
I have never heard this much reverb in a movie, but I guess I dont pay enough attention to movie soundtracks This one made me pay attention because I recognized most of the works that were from past masters.
