Last week I was at the MGM Studios in Disneyworld. Along the main street they play this amazing music that blends in with the cool deco architecture to create a very magical ambience. It's hard for me to categorize. Large string sections, very romantic, very Hollywood Golden Age type stuff. Not very rhythmic (i.e. no percussion) very little brass. (i.e. not big band swing) I would love to study (and write!) this type of music. Can anyone here at NS point me in the right direction? Is it Percy Faith? Elmer Bernstein? Am I looking for the 40's or the 20's? I also love the "Down With Love" sountrack (specifically the 2nd track Barbara Arrives - Marc Shaiman) This type of 50's/60's instrumentals. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the very best,
