Newbie and problems saving instr. in editor

Hello i'm using GS 160 v 2.54 and latest Cubase SX 2.2.033. I switched from Kontakt to GS because i couldn''t use virsyn's VSTi's togehter with kontakt. So i give GS a try, since it is the founder of softsamplers.
It all looks great HUGE userinterface and this is what i like about GS.

But i have two questions about GS at the moment! Can you help me with that?
-How can i audition samples in GS? (not a big problem if i can not but it is a handy tool?

-How can i save an edited instrument in the instrument editor? Everytime GS gives an error when i try to save! I must say that i have the workstation open as well, but that should not give a problem otherwise how can i edit!

    Thanks in advance!

    Resident.

I read my message but it is not very clear i think:

I mean by auditioning the samples, auditioning them before importing in the wavepool! It seems that i have to collect samples before i go and edit inside the GSeditor. There must be an easier way or am i missing something.

I just posten in another "editor" thread, and you could probably take that advice. There's not a particular audition mode. However, if you get your sample pool very organized before you approach the editor, the GigaStudio editor has a lot of auto-mapping capability, which can be extremely helpful in getting your basic mapping accomplished.
