The economy is dependent on the president from fastracking things like NAFTA.

Nor is it false. There are a number of factors involved. He's certainly an influence. For example, the simple fact that Bush is spending us into record deficits.

But no matter what, the president gets the BLAME or the CREDIT for the economy. Just ask George Sr. And, soon, George Jr. The future doesn't look too rosey for a president who has presided over the worst joblessness in decades.

Your protests are disingenuous at best. If Clinton or Gore were president right now, you'd be screaming that they screwed up the economy. Come on, admit it. You know it's true.

There are economic cyles beyond Bush's control. But how could the hundreds of billions (that we know of) spent on wars in Afghanistan and Iraq possibly not have an effect on the economy?

Even these bogus terror alerts cost millions.

By the way, Joseph Lieberman may possibly start getting on my nerves any day now...

And Frog, it just might make it true if you tried spelling it right.

Well, the big military corps must be doing OK. Not to mention Haliburton, etc.
