Yeah those fast runs were a sampler. It was a great movie. I didn't like that opera performance at all though. Fine music does not require a bass thump every quarter note. That piece made a mockery of opera. At least she got shot and Bruce ripped her guts out. That kinda made up for it

how can anyone expect her to really sing after the producers stuck a brick in her gut?

Actually, I think that Diva could have pulled off the gig if she had only ONE brick in her gut, BUT as you recall she was packing FOUR!!!! (earth, wind, fire, and water - the 'orange hair' beauty in the film being the 'fifith element')

I loved Eric Serra's score on that and loved the film. I thought it was so daring for the Sci-Fi genre. It was so 'green' (buffs of this film will know what I mean by that).

    super green

I still find the opera/fight/dance sequence to be one of the weakest parts of the movie. I really wanted to see Milla doing some real kick butt stuff,...but no...

It *is* part turkey, whish is what makes it kinda cult filmiish.

I do not regret the things I've done, but those I was unable to do.

Well, I think they Chose A Kinda Rap Beat To Make It Sound Like Some Futuristic Mix, Since the Movie Was set in the future.. I Kinda Liked It... But I also Thought Maybe The Whole Thing was by a real person..

Most of it was a real singer, with that same singer stuck in a sampler to reach the extremely high/low/fast non-performable-by-a-real-person parts.
