do you use a volume or expression pedal ?

hello, I wonder if someone use a volume(cc7) or expression(cc11) pedal for orchestral stuff. I bought a volume pedal and I really don't think it's helpful for library work. What's your opinion on that ?

I prefer a slider or a good mod-wheel. I use a UC33 midi controller for CC1 and CC11 (for orchestral stuff) and heaps of other CC's like CC74 brightness for manipulating soft synths.

For me, depends on the instrument: organ is an absolute must, piano a no-no. Horns depend on the part, but these days I'm leaning more toward mod wheel ..
