    Acoustic guitar library recommendations

In looking through the archives, I've found mention of Bardstown, Bigga Gigga and Zimmer Volume 2. Any others? I'm looking mostly for usable picked steel string, preferably in EXS24 format (Kontakt ok). Sharmy, you must have an opinion!

You could check out www.hammersound.net , they have lots of free sound files in .SF2 ( Soundfont ) format. To convert them i think you will need something like Chicken Translator or Cdextract. I have been using some of them for years now like the Pro-Trax acoustic guitar ( 4 Velocity Layers , Chromatically sampled ) free. Only problem is that because Sf2 used to be popular years ago , most soundfonts are in MONO recording.

    Edit :

I just looked at a SF2 site coincidently and it says :

    SF2 Powered Samplers:
    Audigy/SBLive!
    Reason NN-XT
    Kontakt
    Halion
    EXS-24
    VSampler
    Gigasampler/Gigastudio
    Orion
    FL Studio

These samplers have built-in support soundfont (sf2) format.

Robert works for LastLibs, and it may be a little longer than a month before the release he is referring to - we first want to make sure its perfect, and second, have a project that is scheduled for release before this one.

But.. uh... lots of velocities - check.
