Interesting that Slick Willy didn't run off to Canada, England, or Norway for his quadruple bypass. He missed a great opportunity to show us all firsthand just how superior socialized health care is. Oh, that's right, he probably needed the surgery right away and couldn't afford to sit on a 3 month waiting list...

No hatred here. I'm glad he survived, but merely wanted to point out a missed opportunity on his part to "walk the walk", as it were. Kudos to our (still mostly) capitalist health care system for handling the job so well.

I wonder if Clinton shook the HMO insurance persons hand and thanked them for saving his life?

Though I don't care for his politics, I do wish Clinton a speedy and (hopefully) full recovery. I'm glad he had his operation here in the US...from what I understand we have some of the best specialists in the world and I hope he's in the hands of the best of the best.

    ...now if it were Hillary...

Anyone wanna bet the late night comedians do a Clinton heart surgery/Bush brain surgery jab?

It's funny in a sad kind of way when I see (failed) examples of government interference (HMOs) used as arguments against free markets and in favor of MORE government interference.
