BSOD=Grace Period gone, got CDKey, now what?

    Hi all.

So I got a BSOD about 10 minutes into using GS3 for the first time; trouble is it blitzed my 10-day grace period. About 7 days ago I got a CDKey emailed from Tascam...so I loaded GS3 again and got to the online website and submitted my data again with this new CDkey ('cos I upgraded from GS160), but my question is now what happens? I need the Reg code emailed back to me right? Since currently I am completely locked out of using GS3 until this code arrives.

Be grateful if someone could confirm that my understanding is correct

    Thanks.

You are locked out until the code comes back. During the week it only takes a few minutes, but I've found the registration server doesn't respond at all over the weekend. TASCAM must pull the plug on it on the weekends or something.

I'm still trying to find out why my registration code keeps changing.

Thanks that's what I thought. I'll wait a couple more days then call Tascam U.S. if necessary.

You can call them today. Or just try resubmitting the registration request.

FlyingRon you're right, first time I registered it was over a weekend and I never got the key; registering on a weekday takes only a few hours and I'm now back in GS3...appreciate your input
