    front porch banjo!

Just purchased this library and it's great. Very authentic feel and sound, plus it's programmed to work with maestro tools for alternating strings.
    Highly recommended.

    Hi Rob,

I've been looking for a good banjo sample. Could you elaborate on what you found, or perhaps post a link? Thanks.

    Hi Michael.

You can find the banjo at http://www.frontporchbanjo.com/

The developer has been on the forum and if you do a search you'll probably find various references. If you listen to the two solo banjo demos, I think you'll be impressed, as I was. In any case, I've been using it now for the past couple of days and I'm very happy. It's quite convincing!

    Take care,

    Rob

It's a very nice sample. Nicely mapped with the open G-string, too, for easy realistic pattern playing. It's a bit different in perspective than the Bardstown Banjo as well, which makes it possible to use them both and get the feel of two different players. I have found it immensely useful, and the price is definitely nice.

Thanks. I listened to the demo stuff, and it sounds great. But I don't know anything about gigastudio. Can I purchase this download and then play it with Kontakt?

    any hopes for EXS-24 release?

Those release samples will get lost in the translation.
