    Thumbs up "A London Symphony" - Another Masterpiece from Danielle !

    Danielle has sent in a beautiful and moving rendition of Ralph Vaughan William's Symphony #2 (circa 1914) also known as "A London Symphony"

    Here is a list of the GPO Instruments Danielle used:

    Lush Violins mute 1 and 2. Lush violas mute, lush cellos mute, Lush basses mute. 3 Flutes(including solo V). 2 oboes. English horn modern solo. 2 bassoons, contrabasoon. 2 clarinets, bass clarinet, Horn ensemble 1, 2, 3. Horns F overlayer. solo trumpets 1 and 2. Trombone ens 1,2. Bass trombone. Tuba. KS timpani, Chromatic harp lite.

    Another work masterfully done! Best to listen with eyes wide shut.

    What a wonderful piece! I've never heard the symphony before. I actually listened to it while doing homework, and forgot that it was GPO, thinking it was a true orchestra! The orchestration is magnificent.

    Once again you bring out the heart and the emotion that music can promote within us. I for one am so terrible happy that you are with us where your writings and mock ups of the masters may shine and we may savor in your talent.

    May I ask, did you use the X-file (Molder and Scully's) For this piece?

    This has always been one of my favorite V. Williams works particularily the 'lento' movement, thank you Danielle!!

    You have done a masterful job as always.
