Halloween piece, Have a listen please.

Here's my entry for the Halloween music. I wrote this some time ago but just rerendered it with GPO for everything but the Choir which is Symphony of Voices from Spectrasonics. It's not the greatest thing I've written but it fits the Halloween mood more than anything else I have written. I hope you enjoy it. It was originally supposed to be for a movie that was written by a friend but never got made. It uses a few of the new patches from the GPO update. Especially the aggressive strings and full string patches. Please let me know what you think. I could give excuses for it a little but oh well. It is what it is, Lol. Oh, and I'd like to thank DPDan for lending me the cyberspace and helping me so much with getting this posted

Thumbs up Re: Halloween piece, Have a listen please.

Modesty. He says, "It's not the greatest thing I've written". Ahuh, well I am going to hate you more for the better pieces you write then.
This sure does fit the Halloween shtick! One thing I have to say is I am not to fond of the choir. Regardless, after hearing this it is back to the paper and pencil for me.
Boy, what talented people we have here! It's frightening!
    This is cool....

Thanx for the replies guys. Much appreciated. But the I cant get the link to work myself and am wondering if it works for some and not for others or what the deal is. When I click it it brings up a quictime icon that has the corner torn on it. What does this mean? Anybody know? Just trying to make sure it works for everyone. Thanks again.

Cool piece Eric - I liked the quieter parts at the begining the most (I envision the dark screen for the movie and titles rolling in an icy blue) - they were the most chilling. The middle and end sounded perfect for a dramatic apocalypse scene with darkness and fire and debris everywhere... very "visual" piece (to me anyway) - thanks for sharing...

Eric, since you uploaded the file, it is possible that I cut off your upload in the middle by clicking "close all sessions". Maybe go to your cookies folder and delete stuff from the last day, and then retry. It is working fine for me.
Before I got the last file uploaded, I too got a quicktime logo with the bottom torn off, indicating that the file was not complete. Dan

Great job Eric. I really enjoy how the new strings sound in this demo.
