Boy, is that ever an understatement! Tom called me this afternoon and helped me through a few things and I am most grateful. We would have conquered pretty much the whole problem IF IT WEREN'T FOR MY 16 YEAR OLD PAIN IN THE AZTEC MOUNTAIN RANGE NEEDING A RIDE TO WORK!
So, what we found is the update went into the Acid 4.0 folder and not into the Cubase VST, Se, or Cakewalk nor GPO folder. Every time I called up the kontakt player I got this voluptuous blond ..... oops, never mind ... wrong number! Ahem, where was I? Oh, yeah, every time I called up the kontakt player I would get the older version. Oh, shighst! I am losing my train of thought here. What I need is to somehow copy the new update to Cubase 4 VST but I can't find it now. Should I delete the update altogether and start from the beginning maybe do a system restore back to before I installed the updates? Or, should I call a doctor and say, Doc, it does this when I do that, and he'll say, "Then don't do that!" Can you tell I am totally frustrated and ready to unplug forever? Ya can't huh? WELL I AM! Wait, what was that that just ran across my keyboard? AAAAHHHHHH! I am out of here!
Now for spellcheck. Spellcheck, CHECK, check. There, satisfied?
West coast time here. I'm not sure if you are east or west Badabing Badabong. How do our time zones translate?
Just wanted to drop in and say that I don't believe there's a company or programmer on the planet that would jump in and help one of their people like this. Now I see why Gary's selling your likeness as an action figure. Er, you are getting royalties on that, right?
