Ohio elects President George W. Bush - AGAIN!

Ohio's official certification has been announced and George W. Bush has won!

I'm finished discussing this with the black helicopter - crop circle - Art Bell crowd. So if you post something you think is profound & I don't respond it's because I'm too busy enjoying life, and will give the postings the response they deserve:

    NOTHING!

It's over - move on. If vote anomalies, thrown out votes, extra votes, wrinkled votes, scribbled votes, electronic votes, alien votes, smudged votes, blue votes, green votes, purple votes & votes Jesse Jackass has dug from the bay (again) etc., seem to keep going in the direction of President George W. Bush it's because:

THEY VOOOOOOOTED FOR REPUBLICAN GEORGE W. BUSH!! PERIOD.

Besides, say the lunatic left scams the vote count to favor Lurch, and he accepts after conceding, won't that be the biggest:

FLIP FLOP IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE!?!?!

Re: Ohio elects President George W. Bush - AGAIN!

While my conscience compelled me to vote for the man that I thought was the best for the good of the United States (Kerry), in some ways I am glad he lost. I love Colin Powell’s mantra- “You broke it – You fix it”. No more blaming Bill Clinton - it’s your show. Bush will sufficiently muck things up that a Democratic dynasty will begin in 2008 with Barack Obama. Enjoy it while it lasts…

Uh, TAI, you have to be one of the least informed people I have ever encountered (and I'm putting it kindly).

The certification is merely a certification of the votes. It is not a recount. All of the eligible provisional ballots and all of the eligible absentee ballots were counted and added to the totals already tallied. In fact, Bush LOST several thousand votes in the process.

Now that the certification is done, the following will happen in Ohio:

    1. A hand recount will go forward as requested by the Green and Libertarian presidential candidates.

    2. A lawsuit will be filed asking the Ohio Supreme Court to overturn the results of the election, based on evidence of fraud.

    3. An investigation of voter fraud by the General Accounting Office will go forward. The GAO is a non-partisan government agency. No tinfoil hatters there.

    4. An investigation launched by the Judicial Committee Democrats will go forward, and if you bother to read their very detailed letter to Kenneth Blackwell, you'll see that there are GENUINE concerns of voter fraud, voter intimidation and voter disenfranchisement in Ohio. Again, no tinfoil hatters in the crowd.

I'm sorry that you don't like the idea of a fair and transparent election process in our country -- probably because you know your candidate could not have survived under such a process -- but the majority of us, no matter what our politics may be, would prefer that we remain a democracy.

And regardless of the winner, it will be great for democracy if the results are audited. Voting should not be faith-based.

I would think the fact the the GAO is investigating the fraud allegations would be a wake-up, slap in the face to all you republican voters.
