Wishing everybody a happy holiday and a fruitful upcoming year in 2005!
Merry Christmas to you too! Thanks for the tune very nice. The talent is just awesome on this board. I hope to contribute soon.
The talent on this board is an inspiration if one chooses to reach higher.
Nevertheless, one should always stick to their born talents and apply them accordingly rather than emulating somebody else.
Thanks for the comment.
Hey Alan, nice to see you on this board. Great chart! Love your voicings. And your arrangement is just excellent.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Wow! That's the best version of any Christmas tune that I've heard in a long time. If it was done with Giga (or any of the other soft synths) it is absolutely superb work. If it was done with live musicians, it's excellent, too, just not as spectacular as if it's all you on a computer. Thank you.
And have very happy holidays and a wonderful New Year.
A most beautiful arrangement with the highest quality sound. The Bardstown Bosendorfer Imperial Grand Model 290 plus the Bardstown Vintage Jazz Guitars sound beautiful in this arrangement as always.
Many thanks, best wishes, and Happy Holidays!
I was particularly impressed by the bass and drums. Were they from a sample set?
Not at all..This comment is solo about me and what I try to strive for eventhough I do a lot of listening to the master of the Jazz Genre. What I respect is the uniqueness in everybodys giftedness and how they too expand their own styles as time progresses. Sorry if it sounded misleading and I hope I clarified my persianl point of view.
all of the percussion was out of the Classic Motif 8.
Here's the instrumental breakdown of what I used.
The following instruments in this score included:
The BardstownAudio Imperial Grand Piano, Archtop 1948 Gibson (thumb) Guitar, Trilogy Bass and Dr. Jazz Kit Drums. (Motif 8 Classic)
Also included are the High and Medium Brass ensembles, Legend Trumpet, Sweet flute, Celeste and Sax Ensemble.
I've also included the East-West-Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra 70 String ensemble too!
Thanks for your cogent comment
