Talking My first day of composing with GPO - Listen.

    Hi,
Finally some work with GPO done.... i've hope that styxx won't be totally dissapointed and i won't be punished for using it along with EWQLSO GOLD... but
    it's 60% GPO and 40% EWQL

anyway... this is for a multimedia educational aplication for kids about various animals and stuff like that.

it's called: "A hard-working day in the forest"
and of course it's not done yet..

but i want to share this crazy stuff with You people

Here is the download link: A hard-working day in the forest

Thumbs up Re: My first day of composing with GPO - Listen.

Heeeyyyyy! This is really cool! Nice use of melodic percussion and the piece fits the title perfectly!
Absolutely worth the wait! Judging on your last talented post, I knew you would do something cool with GPO! Nice job! I can see you're going to be another to watch!
This piece actually put a smile on me face bro!
    Two thumbs up!

Oh, wow! You got the "cartoon edition" of GPO! (For some peculiar reason -- perhaps the repeating squeaky motif -- it reminds me of the theme of the fiddler crabs in an very old Disney "nature" film.)

    Faboo!

Rarely have I heard such fun whimsy!!

    Go, Luk!

P.S. See this thread: http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/...866#post232866 -- I'd love to play this piece on the first edition of "Two Cents Worth" on the The Composer Channel, so please upload it there when you can!

You did good Luk! I can only agree with all the rest...I love the chirrup of the crickets. I haven't heard a better wild life piece for Children for a long time! Very cleverly done. I think you maybe could have added a few more animals but this might spoil the simplicity.

This is very inventive and cute and as Joseph says could be just one library!

I will add some background noise of the jungle after all is done.

Now that was fun... I can picture the animals coming out one by one and going about their business.

This is great! I love the percussion, and the melody and rhythm are quite addicting. Nice dynamics as well. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to more of your work!

Man, great job!! The flute "chirps" are especially outstanding. But the strings sound excellent as well. It's all well done. And it's a charming piece as well.

    Keep going, do more!
