That is a very interesting site. I think every composer should take a look at the link on the page concerning Engraving. A lot of us don't know this stuff and with modern music good notation is essential. A lot of us take to many liberties and then get miffed when a performer botches a piece. I had good notation practices drilled into me in college.
A special note: Notation software is no substitute for this knowledge. Finale won't do alot of this for you. Sometimes it puts things in the wrong place, sizes things wrong, uses incorrect rests, etc.
