Adding Harp to an Overture score?

I am using a template already set for full orchestra except there is no staff for harp. Can this be added in and if so what's the procedure? I don't seem to find how it can be added.

    Hi, Stynxxx...
How's Barfalo? As an ex-NYC'er, I used to fear Barfalo and avoid it due to the cold & snow season that runs from September to May. Sonny Fox was THE radio celebrity in Buffalo & would come down to NYC to do a kiddie TV show on Sundays--Wonderama!! I remember he picked up a tuba once by the 1st valve tuning slide--it fell & crushed the daylight out of the bottom bow!!

    Here's what to do.
    *Call up your score
*Place the insertion line on the staff BELOW WHICH you want the harp staff
    to appear.
    *Go to SCORE>INSERT TRACK
    *Tick the "Insert Below" button
*Tick the Track Type" button and select "Harp" from the dropdown list.
    *Hit OK
*You should see it in your desired location
*Save As under whatever name you wish
*You should be ready to go!

    REMEMBER:
*It will increase the size of your score, so you may have to do some page finagling if you are printing your score
*Don't forget to set the harp up in the TRACKS WINDOW and assign it a slot in an appropriate GPO Studio Player...
*and don't forget to put the harp in that location in your Studio setup and save the setup!!

Hope this helps...nice to be back!!

Nice to see your back. Now turn around so everyone knows your face!

Thanks for the info. The only problem I ran into was the bus parked outside the ... oops, that was last month sorry. was the insertion line on the staff? I must have skipped that some how because the inserted new staff would always pop up on top. Hmmm, what did I miss?

Remember, even if it did show up on top, you can still put it where you want it by dragging its track in the tracks window!
