    DEMOs, anyone, anywhere?

    Hi, folk,
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Are there any DEMOs of the Spectrasonics VSTi's anywhere? The MP3s sound good, but I'd like to fiddle with the Synths to see how "friendly" they are.

    Thanx.

Thumbs up Re: DEMOs, anyone, anywhere?

I have Stylus Classic and RMX, tried Trilogy and Atmosphere for a couple of hours at a localc dealer's shop and i can tell You: They will become one of Your best "Friends"

If i had money to go for Trilogy and Atmosphere i would do it right now...

Just my two cents (which i don't have )

Original Stylus, Atmosphere and Trilogy all have over 3 gig of sound data. There would be no way to upload that in a "demo" mode...

RMX has over 7 gig of data...

All the interfaces are extremely friendly, IMO... more than most VST's are.

At the risk of sounding redundant, the will most definitely become your "best friends".

I was able to demo Stylus RMX at the local Guitar Center before I purchased .

Yeah, I'm broke from these "new friends" (Atmosphere and RMX) the BIG problem though is I want all of THEIR friends now too,Back Beat, Burning Grooves, ETC....

    Yeah, good point.

How do Stylus and Trilogy work? Are they like GS/VSL, where you have to put in all "397" samples of the instrument at "253" velocities before you can play them? I hope not ....

It was at the GC in Towson , Maryland .

I went in w/ the intent of buying RMX , BFD or both . There was no demo for BFD and I was so impressed w/ RMX I walked w/ RMX and used the extra $$ on some Waves plugins .

I got to use Trilogy, Stylus RMX and Atmosphere when my uncle came into town over the holidays. I instantly fell in love with all of them, particularly Trilogy (I love my bass). Definitely picking them up when I get some spare change.
