I'm not so sure that the harp playing is out of reach for any really good harpist, but what do I know?

I like this piece alot Larry!

I just stumbled across this site. Listened to your Flute & Harp02, 1st mvt, and was pretty impressed, both with the quality of the composition & with the sampled sound. Could you tell me more about this GPO please? Where do I get it from & how much is it? I have been putting up with the tinkly general midi sound for years, to hear real flute & real harp just now was a revelation!! I get plenty of tunes/musical ideas but never or rarely develop them on manuscript even, let alone on computer, but would love to develop that skill... Ed alias HumblePi

Oblivion, I went there once. Not a nice place to be or even visit.
Now why couldn't a harpist play this? I bet Gary could play this standing on his head while ferrying to the mainland!
This pretty cool! Do me a favor Larry and stop amazing me will ya? I'm starting to think there is something in the air out there that stimulates you to write so much! The thing is, it's all done well! No horse manure about it!
Love the flute and I still say the harp can be played. Eh, anyways ... morph it~!

    Hey Larry.

I like the interplay, rhythmic variation and just about everything about the piece...including the programming. My only complaint is that it seems like there could be a bit more dynamic contrast thoughout.

Did you "play in" the stuff or notate/program?

Man, the solo instruments on GPO are first-rate. Aurally, the EastWest libraries pack a little more punch and have a little more instant gratification, but GPO eats 'em for lunch on this stuff, esp. at the price point.
