Creating alternating sample instruments in Kontakt?

In EWQLSO (and, I can only presume, other sample libraries ) there are several patches that feature alternating samples, such as various staccato string patches, which have both up and down-bow samples to alleviate the machine-gun effect when notes are played in quick succession. What I'd like to know is, is it possible to create your own instruments in Kontakt (or any other sampler) that do the same thing? I have several soundfonts on my computer that I could put to better use by combining them in such an instrument. If this is possible, could someone provide a link to a tutorial, or a quick walkthrough or something like that, because Kontakt still mystifies me on occasion. :P Thanks for any help on this subject.

Yes Kontakt can do this, it's called "Round Robin".

Check out page 3 of this tutorial:

You will need your username and password to acces the tutorial.

    Hi!

Can you program the EXS24 the same way, and if so how do you go about it?
