    GPO keyboard mod wheel issue.

I'm new to the forum as well as new to GPO and MIDI. I played pedal steel guitar for 27 years and now play bluegrass mandolin.

Anyway, as I stated, I just GPO a few days ago. In addition, I also have an M-Audio Keystation 61es midi controller.

Last night I was playing around with GPO as a DXi in SONAR PE4. I didn't bother to hook up the midi controller so I was inputing notes in the Staff View of SONAR.

Here's what I kept encountering. Each time after playback, I would add additional notes. Then, each time I punched playback to listen, the mod wheel on the GPO keyboard would reset to the minimum value.

Parameter setting, quirk, pilot error or S.O.P.?

You need to insert a CC1 (Modulation) event at the beginning of the track your recording. You can also add these into the Track Bus Inspector on the left side of the Track View window.
