    Prominy Les Paul Custom

Anyone know what's going on with this product?

Before their site said it would be out last November, but now it says it's to be out in January 2005. Well, it's going to be February 2005 in twenty minutes.

I'm very intrigued by this library but haven't been able to find ANY information on it at all anywhere on the internet aside from their site.

Also, isn't the developer a member here?

    btw the site is www.prominy.com

    thanks for anyone who knows.

I would suggest sending them an email for current status.
    mailto:info@prominy.com

Given that library is 70GB with over 150,000 samples, I could easily see how their planned release date might slip a few months.

    Now that is hard core.

    Hello,

We are sorry for the delay in releasing the LPC,
but we promise that it made the LPC much better.

Now we are ready for the DVD replication and
if we have no problem in the replication process,
the LPC will be shipped in the end of February or early in March.

The LPC makes many use of Giga Studio 3.0's great new features,
such as smartMIDI (iMIDI) Legato mode , 256 dimensions, and so on.
(The LPC also includes Giga 2.0 instruments)

I am working on demos now,
and going to upload some of them to Prominy's website pretty soon.
(hopefully, a week or 2 weeks later)

I am also going to upload the user's manual (145 pages),
and the controller chart (305 pages).
You will be able to download those PDF files from our website.
    Please look forward to them.

    In addition,
I have a good news for you and all of the users,
but please wait it until I post the demos.

    Thank you.

If the thing is really 70 Gb you ought to just ship it on its own hard drive- I'd be buying one anyway...

Thanks fot the update Akihito. I'm looking forward to the demos and reading the manual.

Shipping it on its own HD is a good idea, but i guess its too late for that now. I think that's something a lot of huge sample library producers should consider.
