OK, I know this is probably really obvious. But where can I find freeware that will convert all my beautiful 24 bit gigasampler files into 16 bit ones that I can burn to CD???
Any suggestions?

Your beautiful bounces of your songs made with GS?
Here you go.
GigaStudio3 does this on the fly.
Import your bounces in a new instrument. Save. Chose convert wavepool in the wavepool context field, convert to 16 bit (with dither) and use the export all samples context command.
If you really want super quality conversion (to MP3) you should consider the great LAME software encoder. It has a front-end RAZORLAME, that can also convert from 24 wav to 16 bit wav.

Nice program, Janilla!
Thanks, Micheil.
Yup, I've had lame for years, and there's no problem on that score....
Hey, Micheil, since you're here, are you folks sending me another pmi dvd to replace my old one?

Canada? It shipped ages ago. Must be stuck at a custom desk there. I once shipped a beta disk to Canada, it took 5 months to arrive! @#Originally Posted by JohnGrant
