    Concerto for Piano and Strings

Here is something I started when I lived in Winston-Salem about 8 years ago and finished just recently. The whole thing is 3 movements and written for Piano and String Orchestra. C&C welcome!

Truly awesome! It reminds me quite a bit of Ginastera in its rythmic intensity and overall harmonic feel- dare I say, dissonant yet accessible.

Some day I'll write me one of these concerto thingies

    I'm blown away!

(Btw, the GPO Steinway strikes again- it just sounds perfect for this kind of thing.)

    Jess,

This is super. I love the rhythmic movement of the piece. Always pushing forward. What energy!

Hearty applause from me too. Well done!!!

Here is the third and final movement of my first Piano concerto.

I hope you enjoy. This one is mostly in 7/8 and gets quite virtuosic for the pianist.

Nicely done! Some of it kind of reminded me of the Beetlejuice soundtrack I especially enjoyed the adagio. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice. You've posted quite a few things recently that I really like. Now onto your wind quartet...
