    Some more NAMM pictures

Jordan Rudess, Garth and Bert Baldwin. Jordan really made the Stradivari Solo violin sing.

Doyle with Rick Wakeman, the 'Yes' Wizard of Keyboards. Rick is now part of the GPO family of users:

The second time I saw Sinbad, two weeks earlier he stopped by the GPO booth at CES. Sinbad really liked the Jazz Big Band collection.

    Eric Persing All-around Good Guy!

Jim kept disappearing from the booth. Couldn't figure out where he was Haydn. Found out that the Body Glove girls across from our booth had their eyes on Jim.

Jordan Rudess... Man I wish I could have been there for that, Dream Theater is in my top five for all-time bands... perhaps he will stop by again next year.

Gary, did you record his performance?

    Re: Some more NAMM pictures

I gave the demo of the Solo Strad to Jordan Rudess and Bert Baldwin. Bert is the tech for Jordan and Dream Theater. Bert is also one heck of a keyboardist and played with Neal Morse (formerly of Spock's Beard) with Mike Portnoy on the Testimony tour a little over a year ago.

It felt really weird giving a demo to Jordan as my keyboard ability is miniscule compared to his! Showed him the controllers for the solo strad and he had it singing in no time.

Haydn, that's amazing man. Sounds like it will be a fond memory for some time.

The blond on the left was quite tall. I'm 5'11" and she towered over me!
