What not get a tax deduction and donate it to the Smithsonian.

By the way...the female for your intended voice activated model is rather expensive at $3,742,462.31 without plug-ins and is high maintenance. The red headed model is considerably cheaper.

Calling your PC a poof is NOT very PC. There are a lot of more PC terms that are that I'm sure your PC would prefer. I know MY PC is quite PC and requires a good deal of sensitivity.

    Poof. Really!

Have fun poofing your system! Back when I lived with my family (such a long time ago) we poofed four computers. One time my dad poofed a computer without saving all my MIDIs I had composed . . . I lost around eight small compositions! Luckily, I have kept them in my head.

I've managed to save all my music work onto several disk and cleared my hard drive of most. Next, it will be time to uninstall GPO, GOS, Kontakt and all the DAWs. I figure I'll be down for quite awhile (meaning, I wont be on the net possibly unless I can swing another unit fast).
As far as my work on the music for the theatre group, it's a good think I never got rid of my Roland MC80 and sound canvas. It will have to do for now.
At least I will be able to visit while at work!

Dude! And I thought I was the only one here with that lumbering piece of hardware! I also use a PMA-5, believe it or not.

    Good luck with the computer!

    Good luck, Styxx!!

It always drives home just how dependent on my computers I am when one of them fails. Kind of scary, actually...
