Changing Hard Drives - Copy Protection

    I'm upgrading to a larger capacity hard drive ( D: , not C: ) next week.
I understand that the copy protection for GPO is 'Challenge/Response' ... not sure what that means, but will I have any recognition problems moving GPO from my old hard drive onto my new one ??

Fortunately, since this is not the C: drive, I won't have registry issues ...

Well, I don't know the answer for sure, but I expect you should have no problems with registration. I am considering a new C drive, and hope that it will generate no registration problems. Since I will be cloning the current drive, the system id should not be changed (I hope). It did change when I had to format and start over, without clonging. Since then, I have formatted, and restored and registration is not an issue.
