While wrapping up the final pages of my very-long-worked-on overture, occurred to me that all the amazing talent here might enjoy a challenge of orchestration: six bars of ending a piece in Bb major, moderate tempo, conventional fortissimo ending. The melodic material uses a flatted second and sixth scale step as it heads to the cadence. Purely voluntary! No remuneration or credit or anything but praise offered. The orchestra is woodwinds in pairs, 4 horns, 2 tpts, 2 trombones, 1 tuba, 1 percussionist, 1 timpanist with 3 drums, strings. Extra chord notes and doubling expected, and extra lines possible.
