Free Samplicity Reverb IR and an interesting comparison

    Hello fellow samplists

I have posted a free Reverb Impulse IR set on www.Samplicity.com/download - it's a loooong Church reverb from my first IR library.

This freebie is available in Wave and Aiff format, in 44.1 and 48 Khz and in "true-stereo" and "mono-to-stereo".

There is also an interesting article comparing this IR with a free/public domain version of the same patch. I have written this, because I received several questions in what aspect my impulses are different from already available free IRs. Well, on this page you can find some answers

    Here is the article: www.Samplicity.com/comparisons.html

    Have fun,

Very impressed with this free impulse Peter. Very impressed. And soon there'll be just the thing to run it in.

Am I the only person who can not get on www.Samplicity.com ? I can hit Peter's personal site but I can't connect to Samplicity on Firefox or IE .

It works fine here (in IE and Firefox).

    Hi Amb,

That's weird - it's hosted at a normal provider, not on a home server or anything special.

I haven't checked FireFox yet. I can see in the Samplicity web statistics that it is used quite a lot, so it really should be working fine.

Can it be installed without problems alongside Explorer on XP?

Sure. It will automatically import all your bookmarks and cookies when you install, too.

Sounds great Peter! Can't wait for the lx96!

Do forum members get a discount? cool!

How long would it take to ship to the US you think?

    Hi Lazul,

The indication for regular "express" mail is 4-12 business days; I expect it to be something like 8 days. This option is approx. $ 11.50.
FedEx is also possible with 2-3 day delivery. This costs approx. $ 29.

The discount is already in the current price

    Cheers,
