Ethno percussive - Filmscoring RMX side

    Hi All,

I'm quite interested to buy Stylus Rmx. I dont make pop or dance stuff those times though.
Can someone of you give me a description of the ethnic and filmscoring side of that nice plugin, expecially on what included in the default lib?

    Thanks in advance

Well, in the kit section, you have a lot of "big" hits under the 'Cinematic' category. I would liken these to Stormdrum hits in some ways, though there are some nice things in 'Ambient Metals' and 'In the Air' too. There are quite a lot of ethnic percussive parts, bongos, congas, shakers, djembes, and miscellaneous percussion. I've found these particularly useful for creating a mood, as when you layer them in use chaos, you can consistently get dynamic and interesting parts.

Also, don't forget that because everything syncs to tempo and there are TONS of effects, you can turn remix-oriented grooves into more ambient metallic parts with the right combination of filtering and EQ. I don't think you will be disappointed.
