    String Quartet with KS solo players

    Hi, I am a new face of this forum.
    I began MIDI in last autumn, and bought GPO and a MIDI sequence software.
    I love GPO's strings tone quality.

    This is my first attempt of MIDI.

    "It must be!" (Beethoven String Quartet No.16 Finale)

    <Members of my quartet>
    Violin 1 GAGLI KS SOLO
    Violin 2 STRAD KS SOLO
    VIOLA KS SOLO
    CELLO 1 KS SOLO

    <Hall>
    Balroom 1

    Regards,
    Doralin

    Excellent job--very listenable. Interesting that you chose some of the "stronger" sounding voices (Cello 1, Gagliano) for Beethoven. A little crescendo/decrescendo on some of the repeated notes, like at :56, might help eliminate the "synthesized" sound. Good balance and interplay among the instruments!

    Thanks!
    Your encouragement makes me challenge next MIDI pieces.

    I wanted more aggressive expression, so I used Gagliano. But it was not aggressive enough when Gagliano's velocity value was max 127.
