So, I've got my first dongle. Now where do I stick it? This has nothing to do with an audio app, but I figure, a dongle's a dongle, right?
So in a hub, on the back, certainly not on the front?
I have a USB dongle for Nuendo which I stick in the front of the machine, but only because I sometimes need to plug it in to my laptop. Otherwise, I'd stick it out of the way in the back. Functionally, of course, it doesn't really matter.
Notice how I deftly avoided even the slightest reference to the more obvious comments?

We're not gonna take it
I wish that I could help, but I don't know what a dongle is.
Yeah, but we know what you were thinking.....hehe!Notice how I deftly avoided even the slightest reference to the more obvious comments?
Then consider yourself fortunate.Originally Posted by moviemaestro
Funny isn't it, the software pirates that dongle's are supposedly supposed to stop are able to use the software with much fewer headaches through cracked versions than the poor saps who actually decide to support the company and buy the product.
What a sad sad world....
I leave mine in the back . I am afraid if I have it in the front I may snap it off when I use the burners/readers .
If you break it you gotta send it in and then they send you a new one . To much down time to risk !!
Please! Always make sure that you don't run the risk of utter ruin, and dangle your dongle
