OT : Looking for TC Works Master X Equivalent

I used the Master X on a TDM system recently. I really loved it, more so than any mastering plug I've ever used. I normally don't like muli-band compression type plugs, but thought this one was useful if used sparingly. The plug-in is either TDM or requires a powercore to run. I'm looking for a similar solution for AU/Logic 7. I'm not thrilled with any of the mastering plugs that come with Logic. For those who have used the Master X, what are some other mastering plugs out there that are equally effective? Is anyone using the UAD-1 plugs?

    Thanks,

    Colin

Are you familiar with Waves Master Bundle?

    I don't finish a project without 'em!

    There's no multi-band compressor for UAD-1 (yet).

    Colin,

The TC Works Master X3 is available on the TC Powercore platform:

The MD3 Stereo Mastering plugin (which emulates the TC 6000) is also available:

The TC Powercore (PCI) is working great on my Mac G5 Dual. What's cool are the high end plugs without having to fork over $10 grand to get started in a Pro Tools set up. Hope this helps.

Ditto here. And the L3 is fantastic, as well as IR-1. It doesn't get much better, in my book, at least not for WAY more money and less stuff.

The MD3 is a direct port of the algorithm in the System 6000 ... just thought i'd clarify :-)

That and the Waves Bundle = as good as it gets, in the box !!!

My vote - get each !!

I didnt know the X3 was still available for purchase. I thought it had been replaced by the X5.
