How many samples per octave for VSL and QL?

Can anyone tell me how many samples per octave for the VSL and QL Orchestra libraries? Every semitone, minor thirds, etc.? I'm hoping that one or both of these libraries samples every semitone. I have the sound you get from retuning samples up and/or down.

Most libraries today are chromatic. GPO (95% of it anyway) is so I'm sure VSL and EW Gold and Platinum are too. I think Silver is semi-tones though.

Silver's samples are 3 semi-tones apart. Gold and Platinum are chromatic.

(Aren't semi-tones and chromatic the same thing?)

I know as far as opus one, which is using chromatic samples with the exception of a few notes here and there. In total it should add up to about 1% or so.
